Cheap car hire Almeria airport

When we talk about Almeria Spain, we must not only think of the city, but its whole province made up of small but very important towns: Roquetas de Mar, Mojácar, Tabernas and Carboneras.

Almeria is located in the centre of the bay, facing the Mediterranean Sea at the base of a sturdy mountain which is topped with an astonishing Arab fortress called the Alcazaba.

Almeria city is a lively, modern and very Spanish commercial centre with a ferry terminal, sports marina and working fishing port. International tourism has not had a major impact here but the town and surrounding area still offer a wealth of activities and places of interest to occupy the foreign holidaymaker.

The easternmost Andalusian capital dominates a coastline dotted with almost virgin beaches and an interior marked by peculiar semi desert.

Despite the general aridity of the region, Almeria is a major agricultural producer - some 250 million kilos of flowers and crops are cultivated here each year.
